Server Rental
Recently Flagship Computing has identified a need in large organisations to acquire additional application servers for short periods of time during a project life cycle.
This may be because of a number of reasons:
- A temporary environment is required to stress/load test a product in isolation.
- A processor intensive data migration process needs to be developed and tested.
- A secured, non-domain server is required for a short term project to provide ring fencing of sensitive data (such as HR or Payroll information, etc).
- The existing development and/or test environments lack processing capability.
- Legacy systems and new projects need to run in parallel for a handover period.
- Software development is taking place at a remote site which is not accessible via a WAN.
- Hardware is required immediately but no Capital budget is available to purchase assets.
Flagship Computing can provide short term or ‘tactical’ server rental* to meet those needs.
Historically, Flagship Computing has been able to supply rental hardware
at a significant saving on the internal costs quoted by an organisation's IT infrastructure department.
Hardware can be built to order, and is priced according to specification and rental period. As we only use and provide Dell servers, all our rental hardware is
covered by Dell's same-day or next day warranties.
